Make payments to Inland Revenue

If you have tax to pay we want to make it as easy as possible for you to do so. This section gives you some guidelines to help us process your payments quickly and efficiently. You can pay us electronically, by post, in person or, by debit or credit card (currently only available to student loan borrowers and parents paying child support) or from overseas.

Electronic payments

Electronic payments are a popular way of paying us. They are a convenient and easy way to pay on time without any worry. Your payment will not be late as long as we have received it on or before the due date.

Postal payments

Child support payments

Paying parents who live in New Zealand have a range of options available for making child support payments. Parents who receive a benefit form Work and Income pay by automatic deductions from their benefit. Other parents can choose from our convenient options of making payments online, automatic payments, posting a cheque or, in person at any Westpac branch.

Overseas payments
